Bio resource resin (BR2)
A resin family, not a single grade
Bio-oil is formulated into a versatile group of resins. Each one is aimed at an application that already consumes material at industrial scale, so the bio-based feedstream has somewhere to go.
Asphalt modifiers & binders
A binder and modifier stream derived from reformed livestock solids rather than from crude oil — for producers whose feedstock cost and feedstock risk both matter.
Asphalt is one of the largest single uses of petroleum-derived binder in the built environment, which makes it a natural destination for a bio-based resin. The resin is formulated to work within an established mix design rather than asking a paving programme to change what it does.

Roofing materials
Resin chemistry for roofing materials, where the requirement is a durable, water-resistant film that cures predictably on a construction schedule.
Roofing consumes large volumes of bituminous and resinous material, and the performance bar is set by weather rather than by novelty. Formulation work is therefore about matching the cure and durability profile of the system the manufacturer already runs.

Agricultural fertiliser coatings
A coating that meters nutrient release to the crop instead of to the weather — made from the same bio-based resin platform.
Coated fertiliser is a straightforward fit for a film-forming resin: the coating's job is to slow the release of soluble nutrients so that less is lost to runoff. That connects the product directly back to the problem the company started with.

Algae co-products
The liquid treatment loop is not only a cost. The algae it grows has value of its own.
After the algae have taken up nitrogen and phosphorus from the waste water, the harvested biomass is suitable for feed supplements, for fertiliser, and has usable BTU value. That is what makes the treatment affordable for a farm: the loop produces something instead of only consuming something.

Engagement
How a product conversation usually runs
Describe the application
The specification you are trying to hit, and the property that matters most — adhesion, cure time, release rate, durability.
Feedstock assessment
We look at the waste stream available to you and what it implies for formulation.
Sample and trial
Candidate resins are supplied for bench or pilot evaluation against your own test method.
Supply discussion
Volumes, logistics and specification sheets, once the trial result is in.
What we publish
Application areas, the feedstream, and the process principles. Specification sheets are provided per application.
What we do not publish
Reaction conditions and resin formulations. These are shared with qualified partners under confidentiality.
Team size
NuVention Solutions is a small company — ten people or fewer — so engagements are handled individually rather than through a sales channel.
